Medical Insurance

Novolex offers the choice of three medical plans: HSA 70, HRA 70 and HRA 85. All three plans are administered by BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS) of South Carolina and provide the same national network of providers. Comprehensive Pharmacy coverage is provided through CVS Caremark.

Dental Insurance

Novolex offers Dental Insurance through Delta Dental that includes the nation’s largest network of providers. In- and out-of-network coverage is available. The coverage offers a $1,500 allowance with a $50 deductible. The covered services include:

  • Preventive Care – 100% paid (no deductible)
  • Basic Services – 80% paid after deductible
  • Major Services – 80% paid after deductible


Novolex offers a safe harbor 401(k) plan through Transamerica Retirement Services that provides a company match of 100 percent of the first three percent and 50 percent of the next two percent (net company match available = four percent). The Plan offers a Roth contribution (after tax option) and provides a loan feature as well.

Vision Insurance

Novolex offers Vision Insurance through Superior Vision. Employees are responsible for copays on exams, materials and contact lens fittings. Services include an annual eye exam, eye glass lenses and contact lens each year, and eye glass frames every two years.


For all employees and dependents covered on our medical plan, Novolex offers physician video consultation. This is a great solution for employees and family members to have convenient access to physicians 24/7/365 for non-emergency health issues. This benefit is free to access and depending on the medical plan you choose, may be free to use through CVS Caremark.

Hyatt Legal Services

Through Hyatt Legal services, for a cost of $18 a month, employees have access to free legal services covering a wide range of legal matters such as court appearances, estate planning, family law and money matters. There are no copays, deductibles or usage limits with this plan.
