Job Title:  

Print Packer 


Position Summary: 

Inspects product for conformity to specification. Packs inspected/approved product for shipment, storage, or delivery. Maintain neat and orderly workstations by staying within the designated areas and conducting necessary cleanup tasks while keeping area clean and audit ready at all times. Notify operating personnel of down machines as well as any defects as they occur including defects that may have occurred in mold. Follow all NSF guidelines by wearing proper ppe and while working with a safety 1st attitude. 

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities: 

  • Visually inspects product to assure conformity of color, quality, quantity, and absence of defects. 

  • Assure cups always match the "Run-to-sample" as signed off by the supervisor. 

  • Package product into appropriate containers, seal the containers, select and apply proper labels, and place boxes onto pallets. 

  • Clean rollers, plates and ink fountains with proper chemicals as instructed by operator. 

  • Dispose all wipes/rags into the designated bins. 

  • Removal of all trash during the shift. 

  • Be a team player that doesn’t mind helping others. 

  • Perform any other tasks that may be required and directed by supervision. 


Candidate Requirements: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 

  • Able to read and follow written instructions. 

  • Some packing experience is preferred but not required. 


Safety Expectations:

  • Safety is always the number one priority.  All actions taken will be conducted in the safest manner possible and without risking injury to yourself or others. 
  • Follow all Safe Practices and safety policies and procedures.
  • Report all accident, incidents, safety violations, near misses or unsafe conditions to your Supervisory IMMEDIATELY.  If any bodily fluid (bloodborne pathogens) are present, it must be properly cleaned by a trained employee.

  • Our product is our livelihood.  We must ensure that our product is of the highest quality.  Every employee plays a part in quality
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices while in production areas
  • Adhere to all GFSI standards policies and procedures in regards to product Safety, Quality and Legality
  • Adhere to and enforce procedures in regards to Food Defense and HACCP
