Job Titles-


Production Associates/Feeder/Packers/Collator Tenders/Machine Operators/Adjusters.




The incumbent will feed, pack, operate the machines that convert paper/blanks into clamshells/take-out paper and bags. Will perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor.




Proper packaging of all products according to customer specifications and company's production standards.


Ensures quality of product before being packaged.


Will ensure proper housekeeping is maintained in work area.


Will follow all safety policies and procedures.


Will startup and shutdown production line as necessary.


Ability to keep up with machine output production.


Will communicate production concerns or issues with supervisor.


Will assist supervisor in troubleshooting when line goes down.


May perform other duties as assigned.

While working in a safe, effective manner, they will keep quality in mind at all times. Works in a cooperative team environment to carry out the preventative maintenance program, repair, modify, and overhaul the Forming equipment.  Considers food safety and consumer safety while preforming work.  Participates in GMP and food safety training.  Follows GMP policy. Reports all food safety and quality concerns with urgency.


  1. Under supervision, perform simple repairs and preventive maintenance.
  2. Assist in repairs and modification of equipment.
  3. Must be able to read diagrams and manufacturers’ manuals.
  4. Must have thorough understanding of Forming equipment.
  5. Perform other duties or tasks required by supervisor.
  6. Cover for break times for material handler.
  7. Tweaking, trouble shooting, and maintenance of equipment in forming


  1. Follows all Company rules and guidelines.
  2. Avoid unsafe practices or carelessness. Follow all Company safety rules and policies. Follow all safety rule specific to each machine and/or department.
  3. Cooperate with fellow employees.
  4. Is waste conscious of efforts and materials at all times.
  5. Attempts to achieve quality product.
  6. Be proactive in resolving machine mechanical issues (not waiting around for trouble light to be turned).
  7. Assure that assigned machines attain production standard as specified.
  1. Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude.
  3. Should possess basic mechanical skills.
  4. Must be capable of working in hot, dusty areas.
  5. Must be capable of standing for long periods of time.
  6. Must be able to frequently lift and carry 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  7. Must have basic troubleshooting abilities.
  8. Must have good communication skills.
  9. Must have basic computer and math skills.
  10. Must be able to read basic English.
  11. Must be able to work with machine shop tools
  12. Due to fluctuating production levels employees may be asked to work beyond normally scheduled work hours or less than normally scheduled work hours. Employees may be required to work weekends or partial weekends on a scheduled basis.  You may also be called in during non-scheduled hours.
  13. Regularly required to stand, sit, move about facility, climb stairs, bend, twist, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools and controls, grasp, push, pull, reach with hands and arms, lift above shoulder level. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  14. Must supply own tools.
    While performing the duties of this job the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally is exposed to fumes or other airborne particles and vibration.
    Noise levels in the work environment usually in the range of 85 decibels.
    Employee will be subject to mandatory testing for drugs and/or alcohol on a random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, return-to-duty, and follow-up basis.
