Job Title:

Senior Human Resources Generalist

 

Position Summary:

The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources function with day-to-day HR leadership and responsibility to our manufacturing facility.

 

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates all recruitment-related activities including, but not limited to; posting/communicating open positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, updating job descriptions, etc.
  • Conducts new-hire orientation
  • Resolves employee relations issues
  • Leads employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Compiles data and publishes related reports including turnover, absenteeism, head count, vacation, etc.
  • Ensures legal compliance – EEO, AAP, FLSA, etc.
  • All other tasks and duties, as assigned

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience with HR systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with ability to build lasting productive business relationships with hourly employees, management, and peers
  • Must possess a high degree of professionalism in handling confidential information
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required
  • Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational and auditing skills required
  • Critical decision maker with the ability to work independently
