Job Title: Master Data Analyst (MDA)

 

Position Summary:

The Master Data Analyst (MDA) will provide proactive support to the MDM with recommendations, operational suggestions, and tactical hands-on support to the Master Data Team (MDT) for the Food and Delivery Business Units using multiple ERP systems. This position is specifically responsible for the support of the following: develop, entrench, and advance Lean Management strategies into the activities of master data set up and governance. Master data shall include, but is not limited to material master data (including BOMs and routes), customer master data and supplier master data. The result of these strategies will perpetuate maximum safety, service quality, productivity, and profitability.

 

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Environmental Health & Safety rules/responsibilities
  • New product set-up coordination
  • Product structure system set-up and change coordination
  • Responsible for machine/line/tooling capabilities information
  • Provide functional support to Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, Pricing, Supply Chain, & Financial activities
  • Support and execute master data governance and overview
  • Maintain performance reporting metrics
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with plant and Business Unit level Supply Chain functions
  • Support with overview to Master Data Management Team
  • Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities within the Master Data Management activities
  • Support, teach, encourage knowledge sharing and help develop a robust team with a “buddy” mentality
  • Support the strategic direction and tactical hands on of the Master Data Management Team.
  • Work toward, entrench and promote Lean Management strategies into Master Data Management

 

Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Continuously evaluate the processes & work instructions to ensure customers are provided with service needed
  • Assist with the development of effective communication with internal customers
  • Utilize technology management and development to improve tools for data processing and communication

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • APICS Certification, Six Sigma, and related certifications and training preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience working in multi-plant converting environment with a financially-integrated ERP system
  • Experience with bill of materials creation and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of flexographic printing process, scheduling, and customer service
  • Proactive and focused on continuous improvement
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience in streamlining policies/procedures and effectively developing a team
