Job Title:

Pricing/Cost Analyst

 

Position Summary:

The Pricing/Cost Analyst will be responsible for backing up the Pricing Manger with pricing models and month end D&A accruals. This position will support the Senior Financial Analyst and will be involved in analysis of contracts and pricing while supporting the Company’s financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. This function acts as the analytical engine of the Company to provide insights and support business decision making. Success in this position depends on being able to interpret data and draw conclusions, not just compile numbers.

 

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

  • Approvals and guidance on Pricing Models from Sales Reps.
  • Full knowledge and backup on all month end D&A accrual process.
  • Analysis of D&A process program performance. Actual to PM.
  • Full knowledge and backup for pricing models for National Accounts/ FSM.
  • Analysis of National Accounts and FSM performance compared to pricing models.
  • Run the RFP process which include managing timeline and collecting all required materials for submittal of the RFP.
  • In depth knowledge of the companies EBITDA process.
  • Calculation of Month End EBITDA by Rep and by Channel.
  • Utilizing software, compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
  • Assists with special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses.
  • Assist with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long range plans.
  • Maintains and coordinates completion of financial review templates and meetings.
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to senior management.
  • Support Senior Pricing Manager with pricing analysis projects.

                                                                                       

Candidate Requirements:

  • Well organized and self-directed individual who is able to make decisions independently and a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with management, and internal and external customers.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills required.
  • Exemplary analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize and assimilate large amounts of information.
  • Advanced computer skills emphasizing MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and ERP reporting systems (preferably NetSuite).
  • Strong inclination towards sustainability in business and personal environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and two to five years related experience.
